The architects Austin Maynard have gracefully completed the reconfiguration of the “Alfred House” in Melbourne establishing its relationship with the surrounding context. They transformed the two storey house including a kitchen, living space, a small office on the mezzanine level, a garage for the motorbike and an internal garden as well. They further fixed north facing glass windows and also arrange perforated metal awning for filtering the sunlight. Lowering down the floor they provided better proportioned living space and also reduced the height. Scroll down the page to see photos of this beautiful transformation.
